1) How To Stop A Washing Machine From Moving
If you have a washing machine that goes ‘walking’ during a wash, try putting the washing machine feet in rubber holders.
I’ve screwed the rubber holders to the floor, but you can get some holders that use suction, some have a sticky bottom.
2) Easily Remove Grease From Ovens and Cooker Hoods
Cleaning grease from ovens and cooker hoods can be hard work and takes ages. Try adding caustic soda to some cold water and then get cleaning. It works way better than any specialised oven-cleaning product.
Note: caustic soda is nasty stuff, so make sure to wear gloves and don’t get it on other surfaces
3) Stop Using Masking Tape When Painting
Masking tape is often used when painting to mask areas that shouldn’t be painted. But, paint nearly always leaks through, and if left on too long, masking tape can be difficult to remove.
I started using Frog Tape and it is so much better than masking tape. Only downside is it costs quite a bit more than masking tape, but its worth it
