What Is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a popular method for businesses to expand their reach and increase sales while allowing affiliates to earn income by promoting products or services they believe in or have experience with. It’s a win-win arrangement, where both the affiliate and the merchant benefit from the partnership.
Who Do Just A Bloke Affiliate for?
Most of the affiliate links on the Just A Bloke website are for Amazon.
I mainly use Amazon for the following reasons:
- Amazon is probably the easiest affiliate program to set up and manage.
- A lot of people have Amazon accounts, which means if they click on an Amazon link, it is quick and easy to make a purchase.
- Amazon is generally the cheapest place to buy products and they have a very good returns policy.
- Amazon sells just about everything, which means I only need to use one affiliate program.
What Does Affiliate Commissions Pay For?
At the moment the affiliate commission pays for website hosting and WordPress plugins. Hopefully going forward the affiliate commissions will increase and I’ll be able to pay for others to do work for me, growing the Just A Bloke website
Doesn’t being an affiliate mean that you are biased towards whatever makes the most money?
I set up the Just A Bloke website to give honest and helpful information. This is what makes Just A Bloke different from so many other sites. I hope it’s what is going to make Just A Bloke a successful website. If I were to start writing biased content on what generates the most income, the website would rapidly die a death.
